Valentine's Day Wind SockValentine Wind Sock

Show your love for a person, for the day, for the fun of it. Better than wearing your heart on your sleeve. Hang our fun windsock from a tree, the porch or a pole. A plastic flower pot, felt and ribbon is all you need to create a reminder to all that go by, of the day dedicated to showing kindness and love.

MATERIALS:
6 yds. Wrights® 1 1/2" Red Satin Ribbon (#223-729-065)
6 yds. Wrights® 1 1/2" White Satin Ribbon (#223-729-030)
1 yd. Wrights® 1/8" Red Cord (#184-6142-065)
1 12" x 18" Red Stiffened Felt
1 6" Plastic Pot
1 Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Pattern
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Cut all ribbon into 1 yard lengths for a total of 12 pieces.
  2. Glue approximately 1" of end of ribbon to inside edge of pot.
  3. Continue to glue ribbon around entire inside edge of pot. Butt edges of ribbon together and alternate colors as you go (see illustration 1).
  4. Tread cord through holes in bottom of pot to create hanger (see illustration 2). Knot final ends on inside of pot.
  5. Print out heart pattern and transfer to felt for a total of 10 hearts. Cut.
  6. Hot glue hearts to outside of pot.
  7. Enjoy!
