INSTRUCTIONS:
    Basket
  1. Insert forks into styrofoam at slight angle (about 10 degrees). Angle is not as important as consistency of angle with each fork inserted. Forks are inserted into styrofoam 1/8" from edge and about one inch into styrofoam. Corner forks will be angled across corner. Remainder of forks will be parallel to edge of styrofoam.
  2. Poke one fork into each corner to start.
  3. Insert one fork into center of each side.
  4. Insert one fork into center of each space created.
  5. Determine how many forks will fit in remaining spaces without overlapping. Insert forks into styrofoam until spokes of basket are created evenly. There will be more space between forks at corners than forks on sides of basket.
  6. Using 1" ribbon, weave ribbon between fork handles at base starting and ending at back of basket. Cut ribbon leaving 1/2" end. Glue in place. Use glue sparingly! Repeat for two more rows alternating rows in weaving pattern.
  7. Weave two rows of 3/8" ribbon.
  8. Weave one row of 1" ribbon.
  9. Weave three rows of 3/8" ribbon.
  10. Glue 1 1/2" ribbon to base of styrofoam starting and ending ribbon at center front.

    Bow

  11. Make bow with ten 3" loops and 10" tails. Use craft wire to hold center of bow. Twist back of wire using needle nose pliers. Trim wire. Glue bow to center front of basket over 1 1/2" ribbon at base.

    Flowers

  12. Outdoors or in well ventilated area, spray flowers with clear acrylic spray to saturate. Let dry. Trim any frayed flower and leaf edges. Glue flowers into bows at desired positions on basket.
  13. Enjoy!
