"On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, Four Calling Birds." And here is our calling bird, sitting on a silver snow covered branch in a holly bush.

We really couldn't decorate the bird, so we added a red bow to the branch.

MATERIALS FROM YOUR "STASH": (Makes one ornament)
7" Wrights® Silver Soutache Braid (#184-6009-070)
1/3 yd. Wrights® Delft Blue Jumbo Rick Rack (#117-402-040)
6" Wrights® Gold Metallic Cord (#183-5012-046)
-- Narrow red ribbon from your own box
1 8" x 8" Card Stock
-- Small Sharp Scissors
-- Fabric Glue

Pattern
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Print out the front and the back of the Pattern.
  2. Sandwich card stock between the front and back, glue. NOTE: be sure the tops and bottoms are facing the right way.
  3. Following outside edges, cut all three layers of pattern.
  4. Using the photograph for reference, carefully cut and glue trims to the ornament as follows:
  5. Starting at left side on holly branch, position and glue silver soutache braid along bottom of bird and over holly leaves to right side (see photo).
  6. Make an applied bow using the red ribbon and glue on branch over holly leaves.
  7. Glue points of blue jumbo rick rack around border, being careful not to cover the bird's head. Start and end at top, just under the hanger position.
  8. Insert narrow gold cord through hole and tie a knot creating the hanger.
  9. ENJOY!
NOTE: Use as much or as little of the trim; it's up to you. Remember, the more trimmed details, the more 3-D the figure will appear to be!
