Now the ornaments get much easier! Here is the Golden Ring, of which my true love gave me five. And it is just as simple as can be!

A few quick steps and you can breeze right through these. Make one or many, they're easy!

MATERIALS FROM YOUR "STASH": (Makes one ornament)
1/2 yd. Wrights® Gold Metallic Gimp (#183-5007-046A)
6" Wrights® Gold Metallic Cord (#183-5012-046)
MATERIALS TO PURCHASE (OR FROM SCRAPS):
1/3 yd. Wrights® 1/4" wide Metallic Gold Cord (#183-8503-046)
1/3 yd. Wrights® 1 1/2" wide Green Sheer Cross Dyed Ribbon (#222-2169-006)
1 8" x 8" Card Stock
-- Small Sharp Scissors
-- Fabric Glue

Pattern
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Print out the front and the back of the Pattern.
  2. Sandwich card stock between the front and back, glue. NOTE: be sure the tops and bottoms are facing the right way.
  3. Following outside edges, cut all three layers of pattern.
  4. Using the photograph for reference, carefully cut and glue trims to the ornament as follows:
  5. Glue the larger gold cord inside the circle, leaving the area for the bow free.
  6. Starting at the lower edge where the printed ribbon tail is, glue the metallic gimp around the border, creating the frame.
  7. Fold the sheer ribbon in half the long way.
  8. Make an "applied bow," just large enough to cover the printed bow.
  9. Glue this bow in place over the printed one, leaving the tails full width.
  10. "Gather" up the tails and glue in position right over the frame (see photo).
  11. Slip the narrow gold cording through the hole at the top and tie to make a looped hanger.
  12. ENJOY!
NOTE: Use as much or as little of the trim; it's up to you. Remember, the more trimmed details, the more 3-D the figure will appear to be!
