INSTRUCTIONS:
- Print out the front and the back of the Pattern.
- Sandwich card stock between the front and back, glue. NOTE: be sure the tops and bottoms are facing the right way.
- Following outside edges, cut all three layers of pattern.
- Using the photograph for reference, carefully cut and glue trims to the ornament as follows:
- Glue the larger gold cord inside the circle, leaving the area for the bow free.
- Starting at the lower edge where the printed ribbon tail is, glue the metallic gimp around the border, creating the frame.
- Fold the sheer ribbon in half the long way.
- Make an "applied bow," just large enough to cover the printed bow.
- Glue this bow in place over the printed one, leaving the tails full width.
- "Gather" up the tails and glue in position right over the frame (see photo).
- Slip the narrow gold cording through the hole at the top and tie to make a looped hanger.
- ENJOY!
NOTE: Use as much or as little of the trim; it's up to you. Remember, the more trimmed details, the more 3-D the figure will appear to be! |
