MATERIALS: (for bronze ornament)
36" Wrights® 1/4" Holographic Rick Rack (#174-5102-001)
15" Wrights® Seal Brown 5/8" Wired Luster Satin Ribbon (#222-2233-092)
1 6" Frosted or Clear Glass Ornament
-- Grecian Gold Rub n' Buff
-- Fabri-tac Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Draw a line around the center of the glass ball.
  2. Swirl the glue in a scroll pattern around the top half (the side closest to the collar) of the ball. Allow to dry thoroughly.
  3. Once glue is dry, buff the whole ball with the Rub n' Buff, following the instructions on the package. The swirl pattern on the top of the ball will appear while the cracks and crevices stay clear. The bottom of the ball will be a rich solid gold.
  4. Glue a piece of ribbon around the ball to hide the line between the solid and scrolled portions of the ornament.
  5. Glue a piece of rick rack to each side edge of the ribbon
  6. Enjoy!

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Cut three 12" pieces of both scroll trims.
  2. Glue one piece of the wider trim to the ball, starting at the collar of the hanger and working around ball to other side of collar. Illustration
  3. Repeat step 2 for the remaining pieces of the wider trim, leaving an even space between each strip. From the bottom of the ornament you will see a 6-armed pattern (see illustration at right).
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the three pieces of the smaller trim. These pieces are to be glued between the existing trim, leaving equal spaces between each strip (see project photo).
  5. Cut the 24" piece of parachute cord in half. With the other 12" piece of parachute cord you now have a total of three pieces of parachute cord.
  6. Tie the end of the three cords together.
  7. Braid the three cords together until all cord is used.
  8. Tape the ends of the cords with cellophane tape. Trim excess cord.
  9. Glue a piece of braid around cap of ornament (see project photo).
  10. Enjoy!
