Use the Boye® Bloom Loom to make this beautiful Crystal Snowflake. Make several to decorate your tree and house for the holidays or to add to your gifts!

MATERIALS:
1 Boye® Bloom Loom (#7645)
-- Assorted Crystal Beads
-- 24 Gauge Wire
-- Round Nose Pliers
INSTRUCTIONS:
    Bloom Loom Crystal Snowflake
  1. Follow instructions that accompany Bloom Loom to form snowflake base. Only one layer of outside petals is necessary, and then bind off all arms as directed.
  2. Pinch the end of each arm with round nose pliers to a point. This will help to guide beads onto arms.
  3. Guide one bead on an arm and slide to center of flake.
  4. Open the wires of the arm and guide a pencil or dowel between wires.
  5. Pinch wires together to form a circle.
  6. Continue to guide beads onto arm to the pointed end. Open point of wire slightly to keep final bead on arm (see photo).
  7. Continue to create arms of snowflake. Alternate designs so that you have 6 arms with one set of beads and 6 arms with another set of beads.
  8. Glue a crystal gem to center of snowflake to finish.
  9. Enjoy!
NOTE: Start this project with less expensive wire and beads. Once you have mastered the technique you can use sterling wire and crystal beads for one of a kind ornaments.
