- Dress up old plain glass ornaments by gluing rows of gold braid on them. Place them in a clear glass bowl on a bed of shredded, iridescent paper.
- Paint a papier mache box in an antique finish. Add a trellis pattern of gold middy braid, outline the shape to cover raw edges, and add a few gold rose buds.
- Make your own gift tags or place cards from old Christmas cards. Simply cut out the design you want to use and border it with gold rick rack or braid.
- Border a napkin with gold ribbon.
- Decorate a napkin ring (ours is clear plastic purchased at a discount store) with several rows of gold ribbon and braids.
- Add a few sprigs of holly, and a few candles and you're ready to entertain in style!
