INSTRUCTIONS:
 - Cut cardboard tree shape (see. Illus. 1). Set excess cardboard aside.
- Glue felt to cardboard and trim excess from edges. Hint: A rotary cutter is most helpful.
- Position rick rack on Christmas tree in a criss-cross pattern, (see photo).
- Glue rick rack ends to edge of tree, trimming excess.
- Glue where rick rack crosses, then glue to felt at this point only.
- Glue green braid over edges of felt, starting at top of tree and continuing around entire edge. (Tape ends of braid to prevent fraying).
- Tie a bow with tasseled cord and glue to top of tree.
- Tie bow with ribbon and tie off with piece of wire. Punch two small holes into top of tree, (see illus. 1). Slip wires through holes and twist at back of tree. Make a loop for hanger with wire ends.
 - Cut tree trunk from excess cardboard, (see illus. 2).
- Cover with felt and trim.
- Glue covered trunk to back of tree. (see photo). Hint: If you have a quilters tack gun, you can eliminate the gluing at steps 4 & 5.
- Enjoy!
