Beaded Band Bracelet Here is one of the latest/newest jewelry items. Look in some of the more expensive catalogs and specialty shops to see all that are being shown. This beaded band bracelet is made with simple ribbons and a few of Wrights' newest trims just introduced in Joann Fabric Stores. Once you make one, you will want to make several in your own style and colors to go with your best dressy (or not) outfits. Guaranteed to add just the right bling — even with a worn pair of jeans! INSTRUCTIONS: Cut blue satin ribbon in half. Cut blue jewel trim in half. Starting with the brown ribbon on the bottom, center and layer 1 piece blue satin ribbon. Glue or stitch. Layer 2 peices blue jewel trim over blue satin, overlapping raw edges at the center. Glue or stitch. Center and layer potting soil trim over the blue jewel trim (see photo). Sew 3 seed beads in between each motif of the potting soil trim (see photo). Fold back each end of bracelet 1/4" and sew or glue down. Fold back 1/4" at each end of the remaining half of the blue satin ribbon and sew down. Center and sew or glue bracelet to blue ribbon (wrong sides together) to line the inside. Wrap bracelet around wrist and mark where you want your closure with a pin. Sew hooks and eyes or snaps to appropriate spot. Enjoy!
