Your dog is a very important part of your family. Keep him/her dry as you go walking in inclement weather with our extra easy, very stylish raincoat and triangle rain hat! Just a small amount of fabric — NO SEWING — simply cut to fit, glue some decorative trims on and it's done! Make a matching rain poncho and triangle for yourself and turn heads as you walk!

All measurements are based on the small size dog coat. Please check measurements for the other sizes.

MATERIALS:
1 pkg. Wrights® 5/8" White Jumbo Rick Rack (#117-402-030)
2 1/4 yds. Wrights® 3/4" Red Mini Pom Pom Fringe (#183-6016-065)
1 Simplicity Sewing Pattern for Dummies (#4793) (View A)
-- Flannel Backed Plastic Table Cloth Fabric (Purchase Amounts According to Pattern Instructions)
-- Notions - As Listed on Pattern

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Follow instructions on pattern to cut pieces according to the size needed for your dog. Hint: Cut on the cutting line, even though you will not be hem stitching or lining this fabric as it doesn't fray.
  2. Copy tab markings from pattern onto wrong side of fabric.
  3. Glue or sew the header of the mini pom pom fringe to the edge of the fabric (wrong side).
  4. Starting in the center of one front flap sew or glue white rick rack on the right side of fabric 1" from the edge.
  5. Leave a 1" tail at the end, fold under for a more finished look. Glue or sew over first end.
  6. Position and pin the tabs at markings, fit to dog and make any necessary adjustments.
  7. Position and stitch hook and loop tape on the tabs according to the pattern instructions.

Rain Hat:

MATERIALS:
1 yd. Wrights® 3/8" White Grosgrain Ribbon (#219-1410-030)
-- Wrights® Remanining Supply of 5/8" White Jumbo Rick Rack (#117-402-030)
1 10" x 8" Piece of Coat Fabric.
-- Pattern for Hat (included in Dummies)
-- Scissors, Markers

RAIN HAT INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Print off pattern for rain hat. Cut.
  2. Trace pattern on scrap piece of fabric. Cut.
  3. Place hat on your pet for size. Adjust where necessary.
  4. Trace adjusted pattern piece on matching fabric. Cut.
  5. Cut ribbon in half. Sew one piece to each side of long front (for ties).
  6. Starting at one corner sew or glue rick rack around triangle.
  7. Trim and finish end as is Step 5 for coat.
  8. ENJOY!
