This is another one of our quick and easy gift suggestions. You can make this belt at the very last minute for anyone, (or for yourself). Animal prints are so in fashion, and combined with these black belting pieces, it makes a great fashion statement. Not a lot of supplies are involved and no time either. You can add the perfect accent to any garment.

MATERIALS:
1/2 yd. Wrights® 1 1/2" Black Belting (#186-3234-031)
6 yds. Wrights® 1/4" Animal Print Trim (#186-3224-001)
-- Misc.: Ruler, Scissors, Awl or Leather Punch

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Cut black belting trim into nine, 2" pieces.
  2. Using an awl or leather punch, cut a 1/4" hole into each corner of the pieces of black trim (see photo 1).
  3. Cut animal print trim in half.
  4. Fold both pieces of animal print trim in half and thread through holes (see photo 2), leaving approximately an 18" tail.
  5. Arrange the squares so they have 1-1/2" of space between them.
  6. Knot the ends of each tail together.
  7. Enjoy!

You may adjust the size of the belt by changing the space between each piece of black trim.
