Knitted Wire Bracelet One of the hottest trends in the yarn department is knitting with wire and beads, and it's much easier than you might think. You can make this fashionable bracelet with Boye Knitting Needles, some wire, and a few beads, in a plain knit stitch. The Gold Mesh Wire Edge Ribbon used to tie it onto your wrist adds the perfect finish to it all. This look is only in the higher end boutiques right now, so you can be the first to wear it. And you made it yourself! (Click on image for larger view)

INSTRUCTIONS: Measure wrist. Leaving a 12" tail, cast on 6 stitches with all three colored wires. Knit loosely until you reach your wrist measurement (If your stitches don't come out even or knot, don't worry, it won't effect the look). Cast off leaving a 12" tail on all wires. Thread beads onto individual tail wires and begin weaving through bracelet until 1/2" remains on each wire (Hint: thread the beads as you go along to insure proper placement). Using needle nose pliers, curl the end of each wire into the backside of the bracelet. Lay ribbon on table. Center and lay knitted bracelet over it. Mold to fit (this will give it the shape you need). With needle and thread, tack knitted bracelet down to ribbon. Tie ribbon around wrist with a bow, trim excess. Enjoy!
