3-D Bias Tape Buildings
We did all of the houses and buildings with flat fronts for those of you who want to use them on a shelf or a mantle for a fireplace...now for you people who really collect the villages, we've done them in 3-D. Here are some of them, which do not have a pattern, as they are done on items right from your kitchen cabinets or pantry. Even though we didn't have a particular pattern to follow, we did the orange juice carton on HGTV on the Carol Duvall live workshop (Click here for instructions)! Just as an example, it takes 3 packages of single fold bias tape for the body of the house in one color and 1 package for the roof. You can decide the amount of windows and the placement of them and the doors. The house in our farm scene was made on a cereal box. The barn is from a laundry detergent box, and the barn's silo is a can of Pringles potato chips!
All you need is a little imagination and you can create a variety of
buildings in all shapes and sizes!!!
