Bias Tape Village End Uses We've shown you what to do to create an actual village from the houses and store front facades. Now we'd like to share some other ideas for the same patterns.
Our pillow and wall hanging are made by fusing, then stitching
the bias tape facades on fabric. We painted smoke and trees for the
landscape on ours. You can also embroider or applique for the same look (if you're a sewer, not a painter).

The quilt on the left was sent to us by Juliet S. Demont of Rochester Hills, MI, who
made it for her husband's office. This quilt, titled "Talico", is a reminder that they are looking forward to the building
of their retirement home. Two of the houses are her own design. She opened her strips and sewed them to muslin, finished each house, then appliqued them to the quilt. Embellishments were done with silk ribbon embroidery and Pigma pens.
We wanted to share this with you, so you could see how much more can be
done with the same patterns.
If you have done something different with them, please send a photo
and a brief explanation to: Wrights, P.O. Box 398, 85 South Street, West Warren, MA 01092, attn: Pat DeSantis, so that we may share your ideas with other visitors to our web site.
