Arbor and FenceBias Tape Village Flower Arbor and Fence

Create an arbor and fence to accessorize your village houses.

Less than 1 hour.

MATERIALS:
1 pkg. Wrights® White Mini Single Fold Bias Tape (#117-101-030)
4 pkgs. Wrights® Flower Bud Appliqués (#193-8120-001)
1 6" x 3" Cardboard or Foam Board
-- Fabric Glue
-- Pinking Shears
Pattern
INSTRUCTIONS:
    Illustration 1
  1. Cut fence pattern from board of choice.
  2. Cut 14 - 1 1/2" pieces of mini single fold bias tape. These are your fence slats.
  3. Glue fence slats to cardboard fence using illustration 1 as your guide.
  4. Cut 2 - 3 1/2" pieces of white mini single fold bias tape. These are the fence rungs.
  5. Glue one rung across the bottom edge of fence and one across the top of fence leaving 1/4" of slats showing above rung (see illustration 2). Wrap ends of rungs around to back side of fence.
  6. Cut two more rungs 2" long and apply to the other side of fence.
  7. Trim top of fence slats with pinking sheers (see photo). Illustration 2
  8. Cut 2 - 2 1/2" pieces of white mini single fold bias tape. These are the side posts of the arbor.
  9. Glue arbor post to cardboard pattern. Wrap ends around top of arbor and glue.
  10. Cut 1 - 2" piece of white mini single fold bias tape. This is the connecting rung of the two arbor posts.
  11. Glue connecting rung to cardboard. Wrap raw ends around to back of arbor and glue (see illustration 2).
  12. Decorate arbor with floral appliqués (see photo).
  13. Enjoy!
