This memo board is the perfect place to keep pictures, notes, cards and other momentos on display easily and with no fuss. The base is foam board (from your local craft department) with just a few ribbons and bands to hold the items in place!

MATERIALS:
4 yds. Wrights® 7/8" Printed Satin Ribbon (Sports Fan) (#222-516-079)
4 yds. Wrights® 7/8" Printed Satin Ribbon (Sports Fan) (#222-519-050)
4 Wrights® Star Appliqués (#193-2350)
1 yd. Denim Fabric
1 20" x 24" Foam Board
1 20" x 24" High Loft Quilt Batting
-- Needle and Thread
-- Wire
-- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Glue batting to board on one side only.
  2. Cut denim fabric 24" x 28". Lay fabric on work surface, wrong side up. Lay board, batting side down onto fabric. Secure fabric to back of board with glue or tape. Miter corners. Turn board right side up on work surface.
  3. Cut yellow ribbon into four 32" lengths. Lay ribbon onto board using project photo as your guide for placement. Pin all ribbon to side of foam board. Turn board over and glue all ribbon ends to back of board.
  4. Trim edge of board with blue printed ribbon. Be sure to cut ribbon longer than the board to wrap around back to finish. Lay ribbon onto board using project photo as your guide for placement. Pin all ribbon to side of foam board. Turn board over and glue or tape all ribbon ends to back of board.
  5. Sew ribbons through board where they criss cross using needle and thread (a thimble will be helpful as you are sewing through several thicknesses). Glue a star appliqué over every criss cross section.
  6. Make a hanger with the remaining ribbon. Tie a bow to top of hanger. Glue a sports momento or charm to center of bow.
  7. Enjoy!
