Mom or Dad will need to help make these cute little bells, as there are some steps that you need supervision (and help) with. Create many of them to give as gifts, use as tree ornaments, gift tags, Holiday dinner favors, or pin them on as holiday jewelry!

MATERIALS:
1 EZ Quilting® Solid Brass Thimble (#882118)
6" Wrights® Red Ribbon (for bow)
6" Red Cord
1 Gold Bead (for clapper)
1 Awl or Nail
-- Assorted Artificial Greens and Berries
1 Pearl
-- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Tap a hole in the top of the thimble using an awl or nail (This step should be done by an adult!).
  2. Fold the 6" length of red cord in half and tie a knot about halfway down from the looped end, then cut away one of the tails.
  3. Thread the loop up inside the thimble and through the hole.
  4. Thread a small gold bead onto the remaining cord end and tie a knot to secure the bead for a clapper.
  5. Embellish the top of the thimble with bits of artificial greens and berries.
  6. Make a bow with the Wrights ribbon and glue pearl to front of bow.
  7. Glue bow to the top of the thimble (see photo).
  8. Enjoy!
