Insertion
Make a strip of the appropriate length. To edge each side, work 1 sc in first 4 loops, keeping the twist in them, chain 3. Repeat for the length of the strip. For second row, work 1 sc in sc of previous row, chain 3, sc in center stitch of chain 3 loop, chain 3. Repeat across row. |

Wavy Band
Make a strip of the appropriate length. To edge one side, work (4 sc in 6 loops held together, chain4) 3 times, then work (1 sc in 6 loops held together) 3 times, chain 4. On the other side, start with second group of stitches - single crochet without chain stitches - so groups are opposite each other. |

Fringe
Make two strips of the appropriate length. Join the two strips by weaving them together. Fold the resulting band in half so the weaving is on top. To finish this edge, work 1 sc in the first space, ch 2, work 1 sc in the next space, ch 2. Repeat along the strip. For fringe, cut the loops. |
