Cords are becoming a main part of crafting...they are actually a trim made from plys of yarn twisted together to form a cord similar to a rope. The yarn may be cotton, rayon, polyester or a blend of any of them.

Cords may be used as ties on boxes and other craft items. They're great on Christmas ornaments - as an applied decoration or as a hanger for them - or as the main strand in a garland.

Cords are mainly used in Home Decorating as an edging trim on pillows, draperies, bedding and bedroom accessories. They can be applied by stitching (by hand or machine - zig zag) or by glueing.
