The Pencil Pleat Magic Curtain Tape (Item #145-2006-001) is applied to the top of a curtain with as little as four rows of straight stitching, along with the side, top and bottom hems, as you would need in any sewn curtain.

This Pencil Pleat Tape creates a series of straight, evenly spaced pleats across the entire top of the curtain. With a 2.5 to 1 take up, while not deep, the many pleats create an illusion of more fullness to your curtains!

Pencil Pleats work best on full length curtains in a more casual setting.

The single most important feature with any of the Magic Curtain Tapes is that you have no permanent sewn-in pleats, which means when dry cleaning or washing, you simply release the cords, stretch out the fabric and have a flat piece of fabric to clean.
